Cooking Class & Caregiver Appreciation Celebration
Join us for a special evening with Chef John to honor the dedication of caregivers across the Denver community.
This neuroinclusive cooking experience invites families to come together in a welcoming, sensory-conscious environment where we prepare a tasty meal side-by-side. With adaptive supports and thoughtful pacing, participants of all abilities can engage in hands-on culinary exploration, teamwork, and shared learning.
After cooking together, families will gather for a dinner and presentation.
This event is open to Denver residents and families and is designed to foster belonging, joy, and appreciation in a space built with accessibility in mind.

Creativity in Chaos
Denver START, a program of RMHS, is proud to co-host, Creativity in Chaos, a new support group for caregivers of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
This group is designed to offer a supportive, low-stress space for parents and caregivers to connect around caregiving, mental health, and self-care. Across four lunchtime sessions, participants will explore ways to support emotional balance through art and creative expression.
Free to attend, open to all caregivers, attend one session or join all four
Registration is required to receive the session link; event link will be sent one week before each session.

Prairie Garden Community Day
We’re excited to partner with High Line Canal Conservancy and Pediatric Therapy of Colorado to bring families the Prairie Garden Community event.
This family-friendly event brings the community together through nature exploration, neuroinclusive art, and creative hands-on activities designed for participants of all ages and abilities. Guests will enjoy engaging experiences that encourage creativity, exploration, and connection with the natural environment in a welcoming and accessible space.
Come celebrate community, outdoor learning, and inclusive spaces for all individuals.

A Lovely Day at Beeler Park
Join us for a fun-filled, neuroinclusive community day at beautiful Beeler Park in Central Park!
Spend the day connecting with local resources, meeting community partners, and enjoying a relaxing afternoon outdoors. Families can cool off in the sensory-friendly splash river, enjoy the open green spaces, connect with friends, and discover programs and services that support individuals with disabilities and their families.
After exploring the resource fair and enjoying the park, head across the street to Carmella's for some of the area's best sandwiches, delicious pizza, and refreshing ice cream. Best of all, 20% of your purchase will be donated back to The Inclusive Denver Project (IDP), helping us continue to provide inclusive programs, social opportunities, and community events for youth and adults with disabilities.
