Denver START, a program of RMHS, is proud to co-host with the Inclusive Denver Project, Creativity in Chaos, a new caregiving support group for caregivers of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

This group is designed to offer a supportive, low-stress space for parents and caregivers to connect around caregiving, mental health, and self-care. Across four lunchtime sessions throughout 2026, participants will explore ways to support emotional balance through art and creative expression.

Open to all caregivers (registration tracks Denver County residents)

 Free to attend — regardless of where you live or your child’s age

 Attend one session or join all four

Registration is required to receive the session link, which will be sent one week before each session.

Colorado families, you’re invited to the Butterfly Pavilion for a fully neuro-inclusive community celebration designed for people of all abilities.

The Pavilion will be transformed into a welcoming space featuring:

  • Hands-on sensory tables

  • Indoor and outdoor quiet spaces

  • Engaging, all-ages activities

  • Intentional areas for connection and community

Colorado Families — You’re Invited! The Inclusive Denver Project is taking over the beautiful Butterfly Pavilion for a fully neuro-inclusive community celebration designed for all abilities!

This isn’t just a visit — it’s an immersive, sensory-conscious experience created with intention and care. The Pavilion will be transformed into a welcoming space featuring:

Indoor and outdoor quiet spaces
Engaging, all-ages activities
Intentional areas for connection and community

Whether your child thrives on exploration, benefits from quieter environments, or simply loves butterflies and nature, this event is designed so every family can feel comfortable, included, and celebrated.

Neuroinclusive Cooking Class & Caregiver Appreciation Celebration

Join us for a special evening designed to celebrate connection, creativity, and the incredible caregivers in our community.

This neuroinclusive cooking experience invites Denver families to come together in a welcoming, sensory-conscious environment where we prepare a meal side-by-side. With adaptive supports and thoughtful pacing, participants of all abilities can engage in hands-on culinary exploration, teamwork, and shared learning.

After cooking together, families will gather for a beautifully hosted dinner and presentation — a moment to pause, reflect, and honor the dedication of caregivers across the Denver community.

This event is open to Denver residents and families and is designed to foster belonging, joy, and appreciation in a space built with intention and accessibility in mind.

Prairie Garden Community Day — Nature, Creativity & Inclusive Connection

Join us on July 11 for Prairie Garden Community Day, a joyful outdoor celebration held at the Green Valley Ranch Community Prairie Garden in partnership with High Line Canal Conservancy and Pediatric Therapy of Colorado.

This family-friendly event brings the community together through nature exploration, neuroinclusive art, and creative hands-on activities designed for participants of all ages and abilities. Guests will enjoy engaging experiences that encourage creativity, sensory exploration, and connection with the natural environment in a welcoming and accessible space.
